PHL gives you flexibility: every open general checkpoint reaches every terminal. Check live lines, avoid closed Garage C, and use the airside shuttle if your A-to-F walk would eat the connection.

We’ll work backward from the airport’s recommendation.
This is your airport arrival time—not the time to leave home. Airline check-in and bag-drop cutoffs still apply.
What you’re walking into
PHL posts current waits and checkpoint hours online. Any open general checkpoint can reach every terminal after security; Terminal C is PreCheck-only.

Don’t stand at the wrong curb
Uber and Lyft pickup uses Zone 7 on the South Commercial Roadway behind baggage claim; follow signs rather than waiting on the public arrivals curb.
Rental companies provide free shuttles from Zone 2 on Arrivals Road to their nearby facilities.
All terminals connect after security. A free airside shuttle links Terminal F with Terminals A and C; walking A-West to F can take about 45 minutes.
A free 150-space cell-phone lot is less than one minute from baggage claim; drivers must remain with their vehicles and may wait up to 30 minutes.
