ATL is efficient for its size, but it is enormous. Arrive two hours early for domestic travel, use the live checkpoint page, and know whether your airline uses the North, South, or International terminal before you park.

Ground transportation

Don’t stand at the wrong curb

Uber & Lyft

Domestic pickup is in the North Economy lot; follow orange signs from North baggage claim. International pickup is on the arrivals-level outer curb near doors A1/A2.

Rental cars

The Rental Car Center is connected to the terminals by the free ATL SkyTrain.

Terminal transfer

The Plane Train connects every concourse inside security. A separate shuttle connects the Domestic and International terminals outside security.
